What is Talyrond
Talyrond is the name of the series of high-precision roundness measuring machines provided by Taylor Hobson.
The current product lineup is as follows.
- Talyrond 595H PRO
It is a high-precision roundness measuring instrument that enables high-precision measurement by Taylor Hobson’s original software correction. Achieves outstanding straightness measurement and roundness measurement accuracy.
- Talyrond 585H PRO
This series is equipped with auto-leveling, centering and automatic gauge rotation mechanism.
- Talyrond 565H PRO
The gauge is a manual rotation type, but the accuracy and function are exactly the same as the Talyrond 565H PRO. It is a reasonable line.
- Talyrond 400H series
With industry-leading speed and position control, this series is suitable for high-precision mass production processes.

The Tali Rondo 395 is a high-precision roundness measuring machine that combines the flexibility to automatically control the arm posture and orientation and the ease of use to self-calibrate the arm, column, spindle and detector.
High-precision air spindle rotation accuracy is ± 0.01 µm, detection resolution is up to 1.2 nm, boasting high reliability and accuracy, as well as stability such as active vibration isolation mechanism and environmental protection mechanism, and high-precision positioning performance of all axes. Measures the roundness of balls, shafts, rolls, etc. The processor himself measures during processing to achieve highly accurate surface roughness.
